Driving from Kalispell

The distance from Kalispell to Fernie is 100 km.For our American guests, domestic flights arrive within a 2 hour drive to Fernie. Rental Cars are available at the Kalispell Airport, or we can arrange van transportation for you and your group. To get to Fernie and Island Lake Resort, drive north on Highway #93. Cross the Canadian Border and continue until you reach Highway #3. Turn west on Highway #3 towards Fernie. You will see the turn off to Island Lake Resort on your left after you pass the turn-off to Fernie Alpine Resort.
